This rocket mass heater is in one of the homes at an
intentional community in Boonville, CA, USA called at
Emerald
Earth. The rocket mass heater is an ingenious design that consumes all
manner of awkward bits of wood converting them efficiently to heat that winds its way through a cob bench.
Because the bench has so much mass it acts like a heat (thermal)
battery keeping the room warm for many hours.
