Atulya K Bingham is a natural builder and
author. In 2011 she ran out of funds and wound up camping in a
Turkish field. There was no power or running water on the
land. Six months later, she began her first mud construction
project: an earthbag house. She has been building (and writing
about it) ever since.
Earthbag building, earth plasters, limecrete,
mud as mortar, gravel foundations for earthbag, living roof,
self-build motivation, tiny off-grid empires, books,
workshops, online how to, online courses (in the pipeline).
