The quirky, no nail, house that Boinga Bob built...

This is Boinga Bob’s treehouse temple in Warburton, Victoria, Australia. Bob calls himself an ‘Outsider Artist’ someone who bucks the trend and is driven by his spirit. He draws his inspiration from nature and its mathematics and time spent living in monasteries, Hindu temples, Islamic mosques and jungle settlements. Get a tour of Bob's home and life in the video right.

The house is a mixture of natural and reclaimed materials and other bits donated by people who appreciate his unique style, all cobbled together without nails. Intricately hand-carved wooden additions to his home illustrate his adventures during his world-wide travels and his insatiable need to express himself. Bob's home is built among the gum trees. Below is one of the sleeping niches that hangs above the mountain side enclosed in hand carved windows that mingle with the shapes of nature that surround it.
