This is a home by natural builder and architect Biju Bhaskar of
Thannal
(meaning ‘shade’) Hand Sculpted Homes in Tiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu, India. The home
stands on a stone foundation with walls of bamboo and local bricks
made using the same technique as Tamil Nadu's ancient temples. The
whole house is earthen plastered with lime for the exterior
walls. |
